Back to the trees / Na drzewa!

If you remember my old interpretation of Hildegard's vision of the world you won't be surprised that I revisited it recently. But this time the result is a bit more dramatic - "Trees in purple" :)

And this time I documented some steps from the process. So, here is the beginning:
I nawet  udało mi się zrobić kilka zdjęć w trakcie tworzenia. No to tak to się zaczęło:

My biggest challenge was to keep the circle circle (you know what I mean). More or less but it really looks like a circle and lies flat. Then came the branches:
No i raczej wygląda jak koło i to całkiem płaskie. Czyli czas na gałęzie:
I'm not a big fan of variegated threads but sometimes they are quite useful. The next were trunks and some more branches:
Potem były pnie i jeszcze trochę gałęzi:
And here is the main body ready for beading:
No i całość gotowa do przyjęcia koralików:
Yes, it was the hardest part and took ages to be done :)
But it was also fun, of course :)
Ale sprawiało również wielką frajdę :)
While looking at the finished piece I see it on the small (its diameter is 16") round coffee table. But as the beads may not be very practical for coffee cups I decided to give it a chance to hang on the wall:
Despite the beads it is light and thin and should hang gracefully. While working on this piece I also made a small side artwork. Just another tree (I seem to keep trees on my mind because of the upcoming workshop in our "School of Patchwork"):
With this rather fat frame I can't sell it online but there are always prints HERE to keep it visible :)

Talking prints - my bag has arrived and now I'm taking it for a walk every single day. You may guess that I love it. I love everything in it - fabric (sturdy enough), size (pretty big), quality of the print and sewing and lovely design, of course :) And here is a picture of my bag with the source of inspiration:
A propos druków - dotarła moja torba i teraz mam z kim chodzić na codzienne spacery. Domyślacie się, że mi się podoba. Tak, wszystko mi się w niej podoba - tkanina (odpowiednio sztywna), rozmiar (duuuża), jakość druku i wykonania, no i wzór, oczywiście :) A tu zdjęcie mojej torby ze źródłem inspiracji:

Yes, I know - you want to look inside, no problem:
So now, I can really recommend this whole printing thing to you. And there are many new tree designs from me waiting for you HERE :)
Czyli teraz mogę już z czystym sumieniem rekomendować Wam te wszystkie drukowane sprawy. I kilka nowych drzewek czeka TUTAJ na Was :)
